Association History

In 1989 the Pattadars tried to sell the plots again and to avoid the Fraudulent sales Mr. P. Yellamanda formed Shankar Hills Association. OS 360/1996 was filed by the association. Unfortunately, the suit was dismissed in 2005 stating that technically the association did not have the right to sue. During 1996 and 2005 although the suit was pending the pattadars went ahead with the Fraudulent registrations. The Illegal Beneficiaries like Jai hind Reddy and others who bought from Jai hind Reddy kept filing claims in the courts to legitimize their illegal registrations. The members of the association ignored to Counter the Illegal Claims of the Second purchasers in Acres and failed to Cancel the Sale deeds in the Court of Law.


Jai hind Reddy bought 82 acres illegally in 2002. In 2012 he claimed that an Agreement was done with Pattadars to purchase 146 acres. However, the Pattadars refused to complete the Sale and hence Jai hind Reddy obtained a decree in OS 54/2021. Based on that decree, Jai hind Reddy filed a suit EP 323/2022 to register 146 acres. The Suit is still pending. Also about 20 Writ petitions are pending in the High Court that the mutation is invalid.

Department History

The most important activity of Erstwhile Association was to Cancel all the Illegal Sale deeds. They however felt that canceling many documents/Impleading in Court cases is herculean and hence wanted to engage developers to complete this task. Sadly, not a single developer focused on canceling the documents held in Acres. The leaders of the
erstwhile association charged Rs.320/- per yard from all the Owners and no quantitative outcome was seen. The development mandate has changed many Hands but we have not yet arrived at a Solution.
