Legal
- The Society, having already impleaded in 13 legal cases (OS 394/2023, OS 400/2023, OS 401/2023, OS 412/2023, OS 413/2023, OS 419/2023, OS 420/2023, OS 421/2023, OS 463/2023, OS 712/2023, OS 713/2023, OS 714/2023, WP 6353/2023) against land grabbers, continues to pursue further legal actions to safeguard the rights of plot owners.
- To identify and track all offenders who have caused direct or indirect damage to plot owners and to file criminal or civil cases based on legal counsel’s advice to restore any losses incurred.
- To engage with government authorities, including the Revenue and Police Departments, to address grievances and seek justice for all plot owners.
- To provide guidance to plot owners on ongoing activities and raise awareness about legal measures and collective efforts to protect their properties.
Society Awareness
- Initiate meetings with like-minded members to highlight the importance of the Society, emphasizing government support for:
- Conducting elections as per byelaws.
- Auditing accounts.
- Legal representation through the Society for members, addressing current Dharani-related issues, etc.
- Update member information from time to time, such as addresses, plot numbers, etc.
Appointment of Additional Committee Members
- Expand the organizing committee as per Society norms.
- Set up specialized committees consisting of plot owners with relevant experience:
- Communication committee
- Development committee
- Accounts committee
- Legal committee
- Security committee
